बीकानेर । केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री एल.मुरुगन ने तांबरम में तेजस एक्सप्रेस के स्टॉपेज को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया और रेल मंत्री के ट्वीट को उद्धृत किया और यह वायरल भी हो गया।
अश्विनी वैष्णव, रेल मंत्री, रेल, संचार, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री ने तेजस एक्सप्रेस की एक तस्वीर ट्वीट की और यह 1.6 मिलियन से अधिक बार देखा गया, 48.4K लाइक और 4000 रीट्वीट के साथ वायरल हो गया।

तेजस एक्सप्रेस

तेजस एक्सप्रेस भारत की पहली सेमी-हाई स्पीड पूरी तरह से वातानुकूलित ट्रेन है जिसे भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा शुरू किया गया है। तेजस का अर्थ है “तेज” और “प्रतिभा”।
ये ट्रेनें राजधानी एक्सप्रेस, गतिमान एक्सप्रेस, शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस और दुरंतो एक्सप्रेस के साथ भारत की सबसे तेज़ ट्रेनों में से हैं और भारतीय रेलवे नेटवर्क पर सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता प्राप्त करती हैं।

तेजस एक्सप्रेस आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस है जैसे स्वचालित स्लाइडिंग दरवाजे और सीलबंद वेस्टिब्यूल, अलार्म के साथ स्वचालित धुआं और गर्मी का पता लगाना, ऑनबोर्ड इंफोटेनमेंट, एर्गोनोमिक सीटें, जीपीएस आधारित यात्री सूचना प्रणाली और मॉड्यूलर शौचालय।

प्रधान मंत्री और तेजस एक्सप्रेस

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 1 मार्च 2019 को तमिलनाडु के कन्याकुमारी से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से मदुरै और चेन्नई एग्मोर के बीच तेजस एक्सप्रेस को हरी झंडी दिखाई।पीएम ने टिप्पणी कि “मैंने सबसे तेज़ ट्रेन तेजस को हरी झंडी दिखाई है और यह सबसे आधुनिक ट्रेन में से एक है और मेक इन इंडिया का एक बेहतरीन उदाहरण है, जिसका निर्माण चेन्नई की इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री (ICF) में ही किया गया है,”

प्रीमियम सेवा को हरी झंडी दिखाना

चेन्नई-मदुरै-चेन्नई तेजस एक्सप्रेस मदुरै और चेन्नई के बीच सीधी और तेज कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करती है। तेजस एक्सप्रेस से इस खंड में दिन के समय यात्रियों को लाभ होगा। सेवा में शामिल होने वाली यह दूसरी तेजस एक्सप्रेस सेवा थी, सबसे पहले मुंबई से करमाली के बीच शुरू की गई थी। इस समय देश में 4 जोड़ी तेजस एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनें चल रही हैं।

तांबरम में ठहराव*
तांबरम में स्टॉपेज के उद्घाटन की शुरूआत को औपचारिक रूप से डॉ.एल.मुरुगन, केंद्रीय सूचना और प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री, मत्स्य पालन, पशुपालन और डेयरी, टी.आर.बालू की उपस्थिति में सांसद, टीएमटी के वसंतकुमारी, तांबरम के महापौर, थिरु एस.आर.राजा, विधायक द्वारा 26 फरवरी 2023 को ट्रेन नंबर 22671 चेन्नई एग्मोर – मदुरै तेजस सुपर फास्ट एक्सप्रेस को झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया गया।

*Tejas Express*

Tejas Express is India’s first semi-high speed fully air-conditioned train Introduced by Indian Railways. Tejas means “sharp” and “brilliance” .
These trains are among the fastest trains in India along with Rajdhani Express, Gatimaan Express, Shatabdi Express and Duronto Express and get the highest priority on the Indian railway network.

Tejas Express is equipped with modern amenities like Automatic sliding doors and sealed vestibule, Automatic smoke and heat detection with alarm, Onboard infotainment, ergonomic seats, GPS based Passenger Information system,and modular toilets.

Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble PM flagged-off the Tejas Express between Madurai and Chennai Egmore on 1st March 2019 through video conferencing from Kanniyakumari in Tamil Nadu. “I have flagged off the fastest train Tejas and it this is one of the most modern train and is a great example of make in India having been manufactured in the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) of Chennai itself,” Hon’ble PM remarked while flagging off the premium service.

Chennai-Madurai-Chennai Tejas Express provides direct and faster connectivity between Madurai and Chennai.Tejas Express will benefit a number of day time passengers in the section. This was the second Tejas Express service to be inducted into service, first being the one introduced between Mumbai to Karmali. Presently, 4 pairs of Tejas Express trains are running in the country.
